The scene opens with a extreme long shot to show the scenery of where the film is going to take place the camera angle then changes to a low angle shot to show tree in the woods also showing more scenery. The low angle shot then continues as it shows a car speeding down the small lane, the camera shot then changes to a medium shot to show the two characters inside of the car suggesting they nare the main characters throughout the film. A medium shot is then used again to show that they are travelling in a car then a close up to show the other members who are inside the car, a voiceover has then been used by one of the characters saying "you won't believe my parents cabin" therefore this is another insight to the location of the film.
A long shot is then used to show a lake, then the camera turns to show the car pulling up outside the cabin as the teenagers get out of the car. A medium shot is then used to show the teenagers faces as they take a trip around the house, which then changes to a high angle shot in a long shot showing there surroundings and how many characters there are within the house/film. Expansion of time is then used as a series of shots are used
to show the personailty of the characters which shows them drinking and dancing. A long shot is then used which shows a girl on a water board which is attached to a speed boat in the lake that was shown earlier in the trailer then she walks into the lake, a blank screen is then shown suggesting that something bad is about the happen.
A extreme close up is then used of the girl in the water as she looks into the woods and something mysterious is hiding behind a tree, a extreme close up is then used again showing the reaction to the girls face as she is crying. A soundtrack is then used at a low pitch to show that something "is coming" on screen shows text which shows the name of the producer. This has been used so that fans of Michael Bay will go and see this film as they would have seen his previous work. A close up is then used which shows pieces of paper saying "MISSING" and the face of the girl that we had seen in the lake previously. This suggests that the person in the woods we seen a couple of scenes before is a killer.
A close up is used on a new character as he knocks on the door of the cabin to say that he is looking for his sister who is the missing girl from the posters. A series of shots are then used which are flashes of medium shots to show the two characters looking around the woods in hope of finding the girl. The screen goes black to then show a medium shot of the new character knocking on another door who is then greeted by an old lady. An over the shoulder shot is then used as she tells him "she ain't missing" to show the reaction of the characters face. The black screen appears again and a voiceover is used of the old ladys voice again saying that the girl is dead.
Another scene then appears to show the producers of this film have produced Texas Chainsaw Massacre therefore this will attract fans from this film to see Friday the 13th. Another reason for doing this is so that reviews can expect what the genre of the film and the style is going to be beforing going the cinema to see it. A voiceover is then used to gain the viewers information about the film which states that 'if people go missing round here they gone for good'. The camera then shows a medium shot of two people who are inside a tent and a shadow appears behind them, a black screen is then used to create tension as the soundtrack picks up the pace.
A series of scenes are then shown of the characters involved. Close up shots are mainly used to show the reactions of the characters faces. A long shot is also used to show there location which is in a house as doors slam and characters run round corners. Over this the soundtrack is played which sounds like doors slamming and is high pitch creating tension, speech is also used including words such as "what is it". A cut away is then used and a black screen appears to show a scene change. A close up shot is then used to show the name of the lake which sets the scene as two police officers are shining a torch onto it suggesting that the girl still hasn't been found. A close up is then used to show a girl covering her mouth with his hand and the soundtrack stops suggesting something bad is about to happen.
A medium shot/two person shot then shows a girl opening a shower curtain and the killer is in the background of the girl, from this a soundtrack starts with a fast pace to show the tension and the horror. From this scenes then cut to and from the film to show the killer striking and a blank screen showing numbers from 1 to 13 to represent the film and possibly how many times the killer has striked.

Insidious Film Trailer
The scene opens with mysterious music that shutters every now and again to suggest somehting is moving real quickly, which makes the viewer paranoid. The first thing you see is the title of the film, you then hear a voiceover which says "are you ready" then the first actors appears. The use of the voiceover helps as it may be a rhetorical question asking the audience are they ready which makes them a part of the film. The next scene includes the use of text showing that this film has the same producers as such films as "Paranormal Activity" and "Saw". This is useful at the beginning at the trailer so it attractions fans from those films to come and see Insidious, it is also useful so that you as a viewer will know what time of film to expect before going to see it.
Then a use of short medium shots are used which tells part of the story, from this you gain information that theres a family of 4 with 2 young children who have recently moved into a new home. Throughout these short scenes they have included the name of the movie again which helps viewers remember the name of the film. A close up shot is then used on the mother of the house as she looks confused and is walking through the corridor into one of the child's bedroom. A soundtrack is used over the top to create tension and to show that something bad is about the happen. A medium shot is then used as you see the rocking horse rocking and the mother stops it and the camera zooms out to show the confusion on her face. A loud non dijetic sound is then used and the falsh of the name of the film appears again.
A series of short clips are used again to set the scenes such as showing the young child go into his bedroom, a strange sound on the baby monitor and the mothers face to this. A long shot is then used as they open a bedroom door to show the child in his bed and a voiceover is used suggesting that there is something in the room with him which they cannot see. A close up is then used of a door knob to show that they can't enter the room and then a close up showing members of the family running.
A close up is then used showing an old lady saying that "she doesn't think bad wiring is the issue here" then an extreme close up is then used on here eye to show the quick movement as she looks worried at the ceiling. A high angle shot is then used to show the old womans face as she looks worried which suggests that something must be bad. Expansion of time is then used again as they show a series of short scenes to link into what has happened involving the old lady and voiceovers are used over the top of these scenes as narration.
A narration is then used which quotes "its not the house that is haunted its your son" which gives an insight to the story line. A series of still images are then used to show characters faces as they look in horror and a soundtrack is used throughout of a quick loud fast pace creating tension. The last thing used for the trailer is the use of the film name again and the date of which it is in cinemas, this will help audiences to remember as the name is used throughout.

Friday the 13th Film Poster
This film poster works well due to the lighting and the lack of information which it suggests, therefore making people wonder what the film is going to be about therefore making people want to watch the film. The use of the medium long shot gave the full image of the character and the background of the scenery. The character being the main focus suggests that he is possibily the killer throughout the film due to the use of props and that you can't see a clear image of his face as he is wearing a mask suggesting he is a criminal. The smoke coming from the background onto the character suggests that theres been a fire of some sort which questions did he set the fire off. The use of the title being in red draws attention to the poster, also the use of colour symbolises blood or danger which is relevant to the genre of the film. They have also used a subheading which quotes that this film was created by the same produces for 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' therefore this will attract fans from that film to come and see Friday the 13th.
